Over the years I've made many quilts. While I've always pieced my quilts with a sewing machine, I've quilted them by hand, by domestic sewing machine, and now I quilt everything on my longarm machine.

I'm Kara Sommer.

I love quilting and have been doing it for a really long time. I think every quilt deserves to be admired, used, washed, and loved. To me, every step of making a quilt is enjoyable.
